The following are ways in which you can deal with every day stressors in order to avoid a build-up of trapped emotions that eventually impact your physical, mental and emotional health.
Trauma Release Exercises (TRE)
Experience deeper relaxation and natural stress relief with Tension and Trauma Release Exercises (TRE), a simple, body-based technique that helps calm the mind, improve sleep, support physical recovery, and enhance overall wellbeing. TRE works by gently activating the body’s natural shaking reflex; an inbuilt mechanism for releasing muscular tension and settling the nervous system, often seen after stress or intense effort. In as little as 5–10 minutes, you can safely and deliberately trigger this restorative response without needing to talk about the past or engage in mental effort, helping you feel more balanced, resilient, and at ease in daily life.

Emotional freedom technique (EFT)
A gentle and powerful emotional relief discipline. This is a body–mind approach that helps you move through emotional pain, release inner blocks, and reduce stress. Often called “tapping,” EFT combines light tapping on specific acupressure points with focused awareness of thoughts or feelings, helping to regulate the body’s stress response. Research now shows that EFT can significantly reduce cortisol levels and calm the nervous system, supporting a shift from fight-or-flight into a more balanced, relaxed state. By working with both the body and mind, EFT can ease anxiety, soften limiting beliefs, support healing from past experiences, and restore a greater sense of clarity, resilience, and emotional freedom.
