My Test-First Clinic Offer

I wanted to create a way for my patients to investigate their fatty-acid balance without having to commit to an ongoing subscription before they even know whether they need one.

Here is how it works:

1. Start with a BalanceTest + BalanceOil for $295. You receive one Zinzino BalanceTest and one 300 ml bottle of BalanceOil+. We perform the test first, but you can begin taking the oil straight away while we wait for your results.

2. Your results arrive in approximately three weeks. We can then look at your individual fatty-acid profile rather than guessing. If your omega balance and other relevant markers are already in a good range, and there is no other reason for you to continue supplementation, there is no need for me to recommend an ongoing BalanceOil subscription.

3. If your results show that your fatty-acid balance would benefit from ongoing support, you can choose to continue. At that point you can move onto Zinzino's discounted subscription arrangement rather than continuing to purchase individual bottles at retail price. BalanceOil+ is currently charged at $72 per month, with two bottles delivered every two months. The subscription can be cancelled with 30 days' notice.

4. If you subscribe, I refund you $200. The subscription program includes two BalanceTests across the program: an initial test entitlement and a second test after approximately 120 days, provided the subscription remains active and fully paid. Because you have already used one of my clinic tests, one of your subscription test entitlements is allocated back to the clinic to replace it. I then refund you $200 of your original $295 clinic purchase. Your remaining test is kept for your follow-up assessment.

Why do I refund $200?

I want this arrangement to be fair and transparent.

If your first test shows that you don't need ongoing BalanceOil, you have simply paid $295 for your test and initial bottle, with no ongoing commitment.

If your results indicate that continuing would be worthwhile and you decide to subscribe, the Zinzino subscription already provides testing as part of the program. Rather than having you effectively pay for an unnecessary duplicate test, one of those tests replaces the clinic test you originally used and I refund you $200.

In other words, I am not asking you to commit to months of supplements before we have any idea what your fatty-acid status looks like.

We test. We look at your individual results. Then we decide.

Why retest?

Cell membranes do not change overnight. Fatty acids are gradually incorporated into cell membranes over time.

Zinzino's Balance program is designed around approximately 120 days of supplementation before repeating the BalanceTest. The second test provides an opportunity to compare your new fatty-acid profile with your starting point and see whether the intervention has actually changed your measured balance.

This is one of the aspects of the program that I particularly like: we don't simply assume that taking an omega-3 supplement has worked — we can measure the change.
